Full Moon

The energy of the Full Moon builds up a few days before and after the actual Full Moon.

This is related to your ovulatory phase. If you are going through or have gone through menopause, it would be best to do these practices on or around the actual full moon as ovulation does not occur.

Your ovulatory phase is the time when you can get pregnant. When you can feel the most frisky and social.

You may feel the most energized hormonally. This is definitely go time with exercise. HIIT, circuit training, running in nature, biking, power yoga, this is the time for all of that!

Of course, like I always mention, be sure you are listening to your body’s needs. If you’re exhausted from a crazy week at work or a baby that is waking up every 2 hours, take the rest you need.

Whether or not you’re synced up with the current moon phases, you can still use this guide to see where you’re at hormonally and start to sync up your workouts to align.

If you haven't tracked your cycle before, I recommend the app "My Flo" to clients and use it myself. You can start tracking the first day of your bleed.
